BUXAR---------------------------One businessman committed suicide by hanging himself to a ceiling fan at Jawahir Temple locality under Dumrao town police station in Buxar district. The deceased was identified as Sunil Kumar Chaurasia 55. On information police arrived at the incident site and recovered the body and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. A team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) has also been requisitioned. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Dumraon town police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter.
Sumedha Chaurasiya, daughter of the deceased said that her mother had died of cancer about three years ago and her father was in debt. She said that she could not understand as to why her father took the extreme step of suicide. This would be clear in the police investigation.
