BROTHER SHOT DEAD HIS SISTER IN BUXAR VILLAGE

Buxar, 25 May 2023, (RNI): Brother shot dead his elder sister at Athar village under Basudeo police outpost in Buxar district in the morning. Police rushed to the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Land dispute is said to be the cause behind the incident. The deceased was identified as Kavita Kumari, a teacher in the Primary School, Amsari in Buxar district. A named FIR has been lodge with the police under Basudeva police outpost against Sumer Yadav alias Malik Yadav. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreant.

SHO Basudeva police outpost Vishnudeo Kumar said that Kavita Kumari lived in his father’s house at Amsari village. She was constructing her house which her brother Sumer Yadav alias Malik Yadav protested saying that had was the owner of half of the land. On May 24, 2023, Sumer Yadav quarreled with his sister and he shot her dead and escaped from the scene.
