Ara, 22 March 2023, (RNI): During a marriage ceremony two groups clashed for getting the bridge danced at Bihia under the same police station in Bhojpur district in which over a dozen women were injured. After the incident, the bride refused from marriage.
Reportedly, a barat had come from Itadhi in Buxar district to Dak Bunglow Chow in Bihia under the same police station in Bhojpur district. After the ‘jaimaal’ people from bridegroom side insisted on getting the bride danced with them which family members of bride protested that triggered clash in between them and over a dozen women were injured. The villagers informed the police. On information, the police rushed to the spot and hush up the matter. After the incident, bride refused from marriage.
