BOUNCERS OF THE TOLL PLAZA THRASH THE SUPERVISOR OF THE COMPANY TO DEATH

Ara, 19 June 2023, (RNI): Bouncers of Toll Plaza thrashed a supervisor of the company at Kulharia Toll Plaza on Buxar-Patna main road and injured him after leveling charge of theft. The injured supervisor succumbed to his injuries during treatment at the hospital. The deceased was identified as Balwant Singh 34 son of Surya Narayan Singh of Manakpur village under Katara Bazaar police station in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh.

Balwant Singh worked as the supervisor at Toll Plaza of Ranchhod Infra Developers Private Company at Kulharia Toll Plaza on Patna-Buxar main road for the last six months. The bouncers of the Toll Plaza blamed him of theft of Rs. 50 and thrashed him in the office of the Toll Plaza. The local assembled there. Seeing the mob, the bouncers of the company took the supervisor to a room of a nearby hotel in which the manager of the company lived and thrashed him right and left and when he fell unconscious, they threw in the train bound to Gonda. A video of the incident became viral in the social media. The injured supervisor somehow reached Gonda by a train where the RPF got him off the train in unconscious state and admitted him to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

As the death of supervisor reached here, the company removed all the employees, bouncers and even the manager of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana and most of them who are seen in the viral video fled away from the scene.

Dilip Kumar Singh, nephew of the deceased said that Balwant Singh was supporter of wrestler Brij Bhushan Singh and so the employee and the bouncers of the company always needled him. Balwant Singh had told him and at last thrashed him to death. Father of the deceased said that the bounces of the company and residents of Haryana thrashed his son to death because he always supported the former president, Wrestler Union and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh who belonged to Gonda and Balwant always supported him.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that a video has become viral related to thrashing an employee of Kulharia Toll Plaza has become viral in the social media and in the meantime, a news of the death of the employee came. He directed the concerned police station to inquire into the matter and the guilty would not be spared.

When the family members of the deceased were going to perform the last rites, another video became viral showing thrashing, the Gonda police took cognizance and recovered the body from his house and brought it to the hospital for postmortem. Police said that the miscreants were identified as Abhimanyu Sharma, Sunil Zakhar, Sumit, Bikram Kaushik, of Rohtak in Haryana and Gyanendra Singh, Sagar, Golu of Uttar Pradesh.
