BOJPUR POLICE ARREST SHARP SHOOTER IN THE MURDER OF HUSBAND OF A MUKHIA

ARA------------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested a sharp shooter from a garden at Babhangawa village in connection with murder of husband of a Mukhia cum property dealer and a businessman and seized a country made pistol, one live cartridge and a mobile from his possession. The arrested miscreant was identified as Dhan Jee Yadav son of Jagdish Yadav of Babhangawa village undr Krishnagarh police station in Bhojpur district. Dhan Jee Yadav was one of the top 10 most wanted miscreants of Bhojpur district and at least five criminal cases including murder and under Arms and Excise Act are pending with the police against him.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that a resident of Babhangawa village under Krishnagarh police station and Cement businessman Munna Yadav alias Mahendra Yadav husband of a Mukhia, Western Gundi panchayat was shot dead at Saraiya Bazaar under Krishnagarh police station on May 14, 2023. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Krishnagarh police station against Dhan Jee Yadav and Anshu Upadhyaya of Babhangawa village in the murder of Mahendra Yadav alias Munna Yadav on the statement of Vikas Kumar, son of the deceased. After the institution of FIR, the SP formed a police team under the ASP Chandra Prakash and this police team had arrested some miscreants including the main accused and the police also police attacked properties of some miscreants though the sharp shooter in the murder Dhan Jee Yadav was absconding.

Meanwhile, the police got information that Dhan Jee Yadav had come to his native village to meet someone and had taken shelter in a garden of the village. The police at once swung into action and conducted raid at the garden of the village and arrested Dhan Jee Yadav and recovered a country made pistol, a live cartridge and a mobile from his possession. An FIR was also lodged with the police under Krishnagarh police station against Dhan Jee Yadav under Arms Act.

The SP further said that the husband of the Mukhia Mahendra Yadav alias Munna Yadav had gone to the Krishnagarh police station on his bullet motorcycle on May 14, 2023 in connection with a case of his village. While returning, some armed miscreants fired on him indiscriminately and pumped five bullets into his body at Saraiya Bazaar. When he fell to the ground from his bullet, the miscreants pumped one more bullet into his head killing him on spot and escaped from the scene.
