BODY OF A TEENAGE YOUTH RECOVERED FROM A POND

ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police recovered body of a teenage boy from a pond at Panwari village under Sikarhatta police station in Bhojpur district and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Shivam Kumar 13 son of Munna Pasi of Panwari village under Sikarhatta police station. He was a student of class IV.

Binod Pasi grandfather of the deceased said that Shivam Kumar had gone to a pond in the village to some distance of his house but he slipped and fell into the pond and drowned to death. He added that he did not return home till late and so the family members searched for him but in vain. Next day in the morning, some youths of the village saw the body of Shivam Kumar in the pond and informed his family members. The family members rushed to the spot and with the help of villagers took the body out of the pond and also informed the police. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
