BODY OF A STUDENT FOUND IN THE RIVER FLOATING AFTER THREE DAYS
Body of a youth was fished out from the river from near the Baghakol Tetariya Ganga ghat under Dhobaha police station in Bhojpur district in the morning. Later the police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Ara (RNI) Body of a youth was fished out from the river from near the Baghakol Tetariya Ganga ghat under Dhobaha police station in Bhojpur district in the morning. Later the police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Bhawesh Tiwari 14 son of Vinay Tiwari of Baghakola Tetaria village under Dhobaha police station. He was a student of Class IX.
Ajay Tiwari uncle of the deceased said that Bhawesh Tiwari along with some youths of the village had gone to visit the garden in the village at about 2pm on May 15, 2024.Later went to the river Ganga at Baghakola Tetaria village to have a dip in the river but he drowned in the river and died. His friends returned home and informed about the incident. The family members rushed to the spot and also informed the police. On information the police arrived at the spot and also requisitioned a team of the NDRF. Later the local divers and the NDRF searched for the body for two days but in vain. They directed the local boatmen to search for the body of the youth even in the night. At last the boatmen found the body floating in the river near Baghakola Tetariya Ganga ghat and informed the police.
