BODY OF A MISSING YOUTH FOUND

ARA-----------------------Bhojpur police recovered body of a youth from near Muktidham under Ara Town police station and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Tantan Kumar 22 son of Kashinath Prasad of Old Water Tank, Dharahara under Ara town police station. Blood was spilling from his mouth and nose and the body had several bruises. The family members suspected that he was beaten to death. The deceased was a drug addict. The deceased was missing for the last two days.

Om Narayan, elder brother of the deceased said that Tantan Kumar was a drug addict. He lived with his friend Babu and both took drug. He\\He had ad set out of the house with his motorcycle in the morning on October 4, 2023.  The same he knew that he had pledged him motorcycle to Bijay Kumar Gupta of Aranay Devi. He had also mortgaged several goods including jewelries of the house for drug. He had given an application to the Ara town police station on October 5, 2023. The police officer told him to brought Bijay Kumar Gupta to the police station but he refused to go there. Om Narayan said that he queried his friend Babu who said that Tantan Kumar was with him till 9am on October 4, 2023 and later went somewhere. He further said that he along with Babu went to the Gangi in search of Tantan Kumar whence Babu fled away. Om Narayan blamed Babu of thrashing and killing his brother.

SHO Ara town police station Sanjeev Kumar said that the deceased was a drug addict and so the murder case looked suspicious. He further said that the police are investigating the matter.
