BLOOD DONATION CAMP ORGANIZED AT RED CROSS SOCIETY
At least six people associated with the Dainik Bhaskar, Hindi daily vernacular, donated blood in a blood donation camp organized to mark the 80th birth anniversary of their chairperson, late Ramesh Chandra Agrawal at Red Cross Blood Bank Ara. Mayor, Ara Municipal Corporation, Indu Devi and senior journalist Rajiv Nayan Agrawal jointly inaugurated the blood donation camp by lighting the ceremonial candle.
ARA (RNI) At least six people associated with the Dainik Bhaskar, Hindi daily vernacular, donated blood in a blood donation camp organized to mark the 80th birth anniversary of their chairperson, late Ramesh Chandra Agrawal at Red Cross Blood Bank Ara. Mayor, Ara Municipal Corporation, Indu Devi and senior journalist Rajiv Nayan Agrawal jointly inaugurated the blood donation camp by lighting the ceremonial candle. Secretary, Red Cross Society, Ara, Vibha Kumari, Medical Officer, Ara Red Cross Society, Dr. B P Singh, Jitendra Shukla, Ram Kumar, Rakesh Kumar Singh, in-charge, Dainik Bhaskar, Ara office, Dinesh Kumar Sinha, Deepak Kumar Akela, Sanjay Srivastava, Samir Akhtar, Mukesh Kumar, Ravindra Kumar Singh, Vishal Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. B P Singh said that by regular donating blood, our body weight, blood pressure, Hemoglobin, fitness are maintained and it also lower the risk of cancer adding that some needy persons can get new life and so he exhorted to donate blood at regular interval.
