BJP S NVSS DEMANDED 2BH FOR HOMELESS

Hyderabad. (RNI) Aug 18 T’gana state BJP Vice-President and Uppal former MLA NVSS Prabhakar began his 48 hours sit-in protest at Ramanthapur  demanding allotment of Double Bedroom houses to  homeless people as promised by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Addressing the dharna which was attended by a large number of people including those who applied under the scheme, Prabhakar alleged that CM KCR has utterly failed to fulfil his promise of providing houses to poor people under the scheme and playing with the lives of poor with his hollow promises since last nine years. Besides applicants party corporators and senior BJP leaders participated in dharna. He  accused BRS government of lacking transparency in selecting beneficiaries and  alleged that ruling party leaders, local MLA and other elected representatives have been fleecing  people by demanding money from the beneficiaries like  3 lakh for double bedroom house 5 lakh, for Dalit Badhu scheme and Rs 15000 for getting BC Bandhu scheme. Prabhakar alleged that not a single new house was constructed under this scheme in  Uppal assembly constituency during during last four years and people got benefitted when houses were constructed under Pradhanmantri Avas Yojna  when he was MLA.
Prabhakar warned CM KCR that people would lay siege collectorate office and will give a call for bandh  if Double Bedroom houses are not allotted to all poor people who applied under the scheme in his constituency.
