BJP MEANS GATHERING OF CORRUPTS PARTY—DIPANKAR BHATTACHARYA

ARA-------------------------------Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has become a party of corrupts, said the Communist Party of India—Marxist-Leninist (CPI-ML) national general secretary, Dipankar Bhattacharya.

Talking to media persons, Dipankar Bhattacharya said that this election is not a general election. This can be compared with the 2004 elections where on one side Gujrat was burning with riots and people of the BJP were raising slogans of India shining. It is like the proverb that ‘when Rome was burning, Nero was playing flute’. He said that Narendra Modi is giving slogans of more than 400 and his ministers are endorsing his statement so that maximum changes can be made in the Constitution of India as his wish. Even the Supreme Court of India has also realized this dangerous intention of the BJP and it has talked about complete verification of VVIPT so that the irregularities being done through the EVMs can be stopped to the satisfaction of the voters. He stated that the Electoral Bond is a storehouse of scams. The Supreme Court also said that this is an anti-constitutional act but Narendra Modi says that those who oppose it will have to repent. He questioned if this is not a threat of Narendra Modi to the Supreme Court.

Dipankar Bhattacharya said that the Modi government is the most corrupt government ever and the BJP is the most corrupt party and it is ridiculous that the BJP says that no corrupt will be spared but it is conspicuous that all the corrupt are being mobilized into the BJP and that’s why BJP’s name has become—‘Corruption Mobilization Party.’ In the last 10 years, the BJP indulged in corrupt practices and bought at least 400 MLAs through horse-trading.

He further said that today there is a massive attack on the opposition. If there is no opposition in elections, it remains to be explained as to how the elections will be. The BJP wants to fight this election alone but the people understood all the conspiracy and so the oppositions want to contest the elections on the issues of employment, inflation, economic crisis, security. In this election, the BJP is on one side while on the other side is the entire people of the country.

The CPI-ML national general secretary said that the Lok Sabha candidate, Sudama Prasad has been raising questions about farmers, students, youths, education, employment and small shopkeepers in the Bihar Assembly for the last 10 years and now the time has come that these questions should be raised in the Lok Sabha. Similarly, in Agiaon, Manoj Manzilr was elected by about 90,000 votes and he has been continuously fighting on the issues of the people concern from the streets to the Bihar Assembly. He has rendered services to the people during the Corona pandemic and sending the MLA like him to jail in a fake case is an insult to the people of Agiaw and the people will answer it.

Dipankar said that vigorous election campaign will be launched for the poeople’s coupons against the corporate electoral bonds. He said that the corruption and corporate money that the BJP has in the form of electoral Bonds, they would counter it with Public Coupons. Under the ‘Har Ghar Chalo’ campaign, a coupon of Rs. 20 and votes will be asked from the people.

He added that Jyotiba Phule Jayanti on April 11, 2024 and Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14, 2024 and foundation of the party on April 22, 2024 will be celebrated with pomp in every village. Jyotiba Phule had fought against illiteracy and for women’s education during the British rule. Right to Education Day will be celebrated throughout the country. They will also pay tributes to the martyrs on the party foundation day on April 22, 2024.

He appealed to maintain communal harmony on the occasion of Eid and Ram Navami. He added that Eid and Ram Navami are on the cards. He expressed concern that the communal harmony was disturbed last year at many places in Bihar and so he appealed to the residents of Bhojpur and voters to celebrate these festivals peacefully and with harmony.

Dipankar Bhattacharya said that the elections should not be on any temple, mosque, religious intentions but on the questions of farmers, employment, honorarium to midday-meal, ASHA-Aganwadi workers, small shopkeepers, law and orders, rising prices of essential commodities, police atrocities and others. He added that the workers of the party will try hard to turn the elections into a mass movement.

Kunal, State Secretary, CPI-ML, Meena Tiwari, National  General Secretary, AIPWS, former MP Rameshwar Prasad, Jawahar Lal Singh, District Secretary, Bhojpur, Raju Yadav, General Committee member, Sudama Prasad, Tarari MLA and candidate Ara Lok Sabha constituency, Shiv Prakash Ranjan, candidate, Agiaon Assembly, Qayamuddin Ansari, State Secretary, Insaf Manch, Dilraj Pritam, Secretary, Ara town, Raj Nath Ram, District Standing Committee member, Bhojpur, Ram Ji Rai, Politburo member, Santosh Sahar, Central Committee member and others were present on the occasion.
