BJP ACTIVISTS BURNT EFFIGY OF BUXAR MP AND UNION MINISTER ASHWINI KUMAR CHOBEY

Activists of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) took out funeral procession of the local BJP MP and union minister Ashwini Choubey that passed through the main thoroughfares of the town and culminated near Naya Thana where they performed last rites of the minister and burnt his effigy in protest against non-performance of during nine years and also raised slogans against him.

Speaking on the occasion a BJP leader Santosh Kumar Duney said that local MP did not do any development work in his parliamentary constituency in the last nine years and questioned about Rs. 45 crore of MPLAD. Mungaon Mukhia Indal Singh said that during election leaders of the party talked about the welfare of farmers at high tone but after election they never pay heed to their pathetic condition. Likewise, the local BJP MP and union minister Ashwini Kumar Chaobey is tight lipped on farmers’ condition and he never came to look into the condition of farmers. He further said that the farmers are clamouring for water during paddy season but the MP is nothing to do with it. Canals are dried and rain god is also angry but the BJP MP has turned Nelson’s eye towards this problem.

It may be said that the Buxar BJP is in two halves since July 5, 2023 and as the parliamentary election 2024 is coming closure, the BJP leaders are organizing against the local BHP MP and union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey.
