ARA---------------------------Floral tributes were paid to Dwarika Singh, first Chairperson of Bihar School Service Board, on his 119th birth anniversary and a grand programme was organized to mark the foundation of Jai Maa Kali, Bakhorapurwali temple premises at Bakhorapur village in Bhojpur district.

In the programme, Sundarkand and Hanuman Chalisa were recited collectively. Team from Barisawan and Ballia participated in this religious even. On this occasion, altogether 551 people from different fields were honoured from the stage of the Maa Kali temple. The chief guest, B D Singh, General Manager, Hotel Maurya in Patna and President of the Jai Maa Kali Bakhorapurwali temple trust, inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial candle and cutting of ribbon amidst chanting of Vedic mantras and blowing of conch.

Speaking on the occasion, B D Singh said that it is the responsibility of all of us to carry forward the ideals that late Dwarika Singh had established in the society. He also said that successfully organizing this even on such a large scale is praiseworthy.

Sunil Singh Gopal, grandson of late Dwarika Singh conducted the proramme. All the dignitaries who attended the function were felicitated with Mata Ki Chunari, garland and Prasad. B D Singh and Sunil Singh Gopal conducted the felicitation ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Singh Gopal said that this even has been possible due to the grace of Jai Mata Kali Bakhorapurwali and the blessings of his parents. He said that no matter how big the event is, it is never difficult for him because the blessings of the mother are always with him.

A feast was also organized on the occasion and a large number of devotees participated and had Prasad. A devotional atmosphere prevailed throughout the even due to which special enthusiasm was seen among the people the village.

Some eminent personalities who attended the programme were Colonel Rana Pratap Singh, JD(U) General Secretary, Chhotu Singh, Goldman Prem Singh, Laxman Tiwari, Ramnath Chaurasia and others. They paid their respect to revered Dwarika Singh and took pledge to follow his ideals. This grand even created an atmosphere of spiritual and social harmony in the entire region and also made this event historic.
