BIHAR GOVERNOR INAUGURATES SRI TRIDANDI DEV GOVERNMENT DEGREE COLLEGE

Ara, 14 April 2023, (RNI): Bihar Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar inaugurated Sri Tridandi Dev Government Degree College at Sri Gautam-Prasaudha village under Shanpur block in Jagdishpur Sub-Division in Bhojpur district today and dedicated it to the people of the diaranchal area on the border of Bhojpur-Buxar and Uttar Pradesh. The college is the 19^th constituent unit under the Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU).

People of Gautam Nagar had donated 9 acre and 58 decimal of land to the Alawari Saint Tridandi Swami Ji in the 1980s and his disciple Sri Laxmi Prapann Jeer Swami Ji Maharaj gave registered donation paper of the said land to the Governor, Bihar through Sri Tridandi Swami Samadhi Sthal Trust, Charitarvan, Buxar on May 415, 2012. The college is three storey building with 75 class rooms and this will benefit thousands of students of Bhojpur, Buxar and bordering areas of Uttar Pradesh particularly those who are economically weak and cannot to distanced places for higher studies. Now they can go to this college on bicycle or in bus or on foot.

Sri Laxmi Prapann Jeer Swami Ji Maharaj has organized five day ‘Yagya’ on the campus of the college and saints and devotees thronged to participate in the Yagya in large number and even the Bihar Governor joined the chorus.
