BIHAR DGP AND BHOJPUR SP APPEARED IN THE PATNA HIGH COURT

Ara, 6 July 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav and the Bihar DGP appeared in the Patna High Court on July 5, 2023 in connection with arrest of Uma Shankar Mishra. The court directed the session court to complete the hearing of the case within three months.

The Patna High Court allowed one month parole to Uma Shakar Mishra after the death of his father but he did not surrender after the expiry of deadline and became absconder. Taking it seriously, the Patna High Court on June 21, 2023 ordered the Bihar DGP and the Bhojpur SP to appear in the court on July 5, 2023. The police headquarter announced Rs. 50,000 on the head of Uma Shankar Mishra, a named accused in the murder of Kamal Mishra, an eye witness in the murder of BJP State Vice-President Visheshwar Ojha, head on June 30,2023 and the Bhojpur police arrested him on July 1, 2023 from near Ara Raman Maidan when he was going to the Ara Civil Court to meet his advocate, informed Rakesh Ojha son of late Visheshwar Ojha and Sanjay Kumar Tiwari, advocate Patna High Court.
