BHOJPUR SP SUSPENDS THE SHO, BAHORANPUR POLICE STATION

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur SP Mister Raj suspended the Station House Officer (SHO) Bahoranpur police station Abhay Shankar after the murder of a Customer Service Provider (CSP) Punjab National Bank (PNB) and said that the miscreants will be arrested very soon.

Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that motorcycle borne two armed miscreants shot at and injured a CSP owner PNB Dharmendra Kumar Rai 36 son of late Rajendra Rai of Damodarpur village near Bahoranpur Dam at Tikaapur village under Bahoranpur police station in Bhojpur district on January 7, 2025 evening when he was returning after collecting money and decamped with Rs. 4 lakh towards Chamarpur village. The injured was referred to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition where he succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased ran a CSP of the PNB at Damodarpur Bazaar under Bahoranpur police station. He frequently visited Gaura Bazaar to withdraw money from the PNB. He was returning from the PNB at Gaura Bazaar after withdrawing Rs.4 lakh when motorcycle borne two armed miscreants chased him. On suspicion, Dharmendra Kumar Rai informed his elder brother Dhirendra Kumar Rai on mobile but by the time his elder brother arrived, the miscreants shot at him in the head and decamped with Rs. 4 lakh towards Chamarpur village. On October 28, 2016, the miscreants had pumped bullets into the head of his father and killed him.
