ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, conducted raid in a house at Manachak under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district in the night and recovered a country made rifle, live cartridges and 88 litre of India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from there though the accused escaped from the scene. The police lodged a named FIR with the police under Koelwar police station against Guddu Rai under the New Excise Act and also under Arms Act. The police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest Guddu Rai.
Bhojpur SP Mister Raj said that the police got information that IMFL in large quantity has been kept in the house of Guddu Rai son of Vijay Rai at Manachak under Koelwar police station. The police at once conducted raid in the house and seized a country made rifle, one live cartridge and 88 litre of IMFL from his house though Guddu Rai escaped from the scene.
