BHOJPUR POLICE SEIZED 6912 BOTTLES OF IMFL
Bhojpur police seized India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) in large quantity from a Bolero near Dhamar Mor under Gajrajganj police outpost in Bhojpur district though the liquor smugglers escaped from the scene leaving the vehicle and the liquor behind. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Gajrajganj police outpost under the New Excise Act in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the liquor smugglers.
ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police seized India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) in large quantity from a Bolero near Dhamar Mor under Gajrajganj police outpost in Bhojpur district though the liquor smugglers escaped from the scene leaving the vehicle and the liquor behind. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Gajrajganj police outpost under the New Excise Act in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the liquor smugglers.
DSP (Probation) Rashmi Kumari said that the police got information that a big consignment of IMFL is being smuggled in a white coloured Bolero to Ara via Chhotaki Sasaram through SST Check point. She at once swung into action and formed a special vehicle checking team under her that launched an intensive vehicle checking drive near Dhamar Mor. Meanwhile, a white coloured Bolero approached. Seeing the police, the liquor smugglers escaped from the scene leaving the Bolero behind. When searched the Bolero, the police recovered 6912 bottles of IMFL loaded on the Bolero. The police seized both the vehicle and the IMFL.
