BHOJPUR POLICE SEIZED 3600 BOTTLES OF IMFL

Ara, 27 June 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police seized 3600 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and a motorcycle from the Sinha Ganga Ghat under Sinha police outpost in Bhojpur district but the liquor smugglers escaped under the cover of darkness.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information that a big consignment of IMFL was being smuggled from Patna by boat on the river Ganga near Sinha Ganga Ghat under Sinha police outpost. He at once formed a police team under the SDPO Chandra Prakash. The boat hit the shore at Sinha Gnaga Ghat the liquor smugglers off loaded the IMFL. As the liquor smugglers off loaded the IMFL the police team reached there. Seeing the police the liquor smugglers escaped on a motorcycle under the cover of darkness. The police seized 3600 bottles of IMFL and are conducting raids to arrest the liquor smugglers.
