BHOJPUR POLICE SEIZED 175 KG OF GANJA, ARRESTED TWO DRUG SMUGGLERS

ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, seized 175 kilogram of ganja worth lakhs of rupees in the international market from the a car and arrested two drug smugglers including a woman from near Khatuawta Petrol pump under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district. The police also seized the car. A named FIR was lodged with the police under NDPS Act against the arrested drug smugglers and the police sent them to jail after interrogation. The arrested drug smugglers were identified as Shobha Devi wife of Fate Narayan Singh of Shobhi Dumara village under Ara Muffassil police station and Raju Kumar, driver of the car and son of Ram Pratap of Barbatara locality under Ara town police station.

SHO Udwantnagar police station said that he got information that a big consignment of ganja was being smuggled in a Swift Dizire from Odhisa to Ara. He at once swung into action and started vehicle checking near Khajuata Petrol Pump under Udwantnagar police station and the car came, the police intercepted and when searched, the police recovered 175 kilogram of ganja from the car and arrested two drug smugglers including a woman. The police also seized the car.
