BHOJPUR POLICE SEIZE 71.1 KG OF GANJA AND ARREST THREE DRUG PEDDLERS

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police seized 71.1 kilogram of ganja worth about lakhs of rupees and four mobiles from a bus and arrested three drug peddlers at Gandhi Chowk under Piro police station in Bhojpur district in the morning. The arrested drug peddlers were identified as Chandan Kumar of Darshan Chhapara under Udwantnagar police station and Tuna Kumar and Shrawan Kumar of Raghu Tola under Ara town police station. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Piro police station under the NDPS Act against the arrested drug peddlers and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

SDPO, Piro Rahul Kumar said that in view of the Parliamentary Elections, the police had launched vehicle checking drive at Gandhi Chowk under Piro police station. During vehicle checking, the police intercepted a bus and when checked , the police recovered 71.1 kilogram ganja packed in 18 packets and arrested three drug peddlers Chandan Kumar of Darshan Chhapara under Udwantnagar police station and Tuna Kumar and Shrawan Kumar of Raghu Tola under Ara town police station. Later the police sent them to jail after interrogation.
