ARA------------------------Bhojpur police recovered body of a person from a field at Chakwath village under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Amant Ansari son of late Madar Mian. He was a labourer. The police also recovered mobile of the deceased from the spot. An FIR was lodged with the police under Bihia police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
SHO Bihia police station said that some miscreants stabbed to death Amant Ansari at Chakwath village under Bihia police station and threw the body in the field. On November 5, 2024, villagers found the body in the field of the village and informed the police. On information, the police arrived at the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Family members said that Amant Ansari had dinner with the family members at about 9pm on November 4, 2024 and retired to bed. Meanwhile someone called him and he came out of the house but did not return home the whole night. Next day, the villagers informed the family members that blood stained body of Amant Ansari was lying in a filed about 300 meter from the house. They found that someone stabbed him to death and threw the body in the field.
Villagers said that Amant Ansari had gone abroad twice to earn. On his return first, he constructed his house and second time, he started work of usurer. Villagers attributed the incident to money lending.
