BHOJPUR POLICE RECOVERED BODY OF A YOUTH

ARA-----------------------------Bhojpur police recovered body of a youth from near the roadside at Chitkundi village under Dhobaha police outpost and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Kanha Kumar Singh alias Gorakh 26 son of Manjay Singh of Bhadeya village under Dhobaha police outpost. He worked in a private company at Bengaluru and had come to his native village at Bhadeya some days ago. He had gone along with his friends. Family members blamed his friends for his murder while on the other hand the police suspected he died after felling from the motorcycle. A team of Forensic Science Laboratory arrived at the spot for investigation. The police detained two friends of the deceased for interrogation. The police also recovered his motorcycle, key and his mobile.

Manjay Singh father of the deceased said that his son Kanha Kumar Sigh alias Gorakh had gone with his friends Rohit and Ranjan in the evening but his did not return home till late and so he called on his mobile at about 8pm but his mobile was switched off. When his mobile was not switched on till 9.30pm, he and other family members started searching for him and also informed the local police at about 11pm. Meanwhile, Rohit and Ranjan informed his elder son in the morning that someone killed his brother Kanha Kumar Singh alias Gorakh and threw his body at the roadside. On information, they rushed to the spot and found Gorakh dead in the pool of blood. They informed the police. Manjay Singh further said that Kanha Kumar Singh alias Gorakh, Rohit and Ranjan went on the motorcycle of Lavkush Tiwari leaving motorcycle behind. They returned somewhat behind the promised time and so all the three scuffled with Lavkush Tiwari and his friends killed Kanha Kumar Singh alias Gorakh and threw his body at the roadside.

Manjay Singh further said that Kanha Kumar Singh alias Gorakh had come to the village from Bengaluru on November 19, 2023 and he had to return to Bengaluru on December 1, 2023 but meanwhile, he was killed.
