BHOJPUR POLICE RECOVERED A KIDNAPPED YOUTH WITHIN AN HOUR OF INCIDENT

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police recovered a kidnapped youth within an hour of incident and also arrested one of his kidnappers.

Jagdishpur SDPO Rajeev Chandra Singh said that Shiv Ranjan Rai of Sundarpur Baraja under Bihia police station along with his cousin brother Subham was going to registry office at Jagdishpur on his motorcycle when some miscreants in a Scorpio kidnapped a motorcycle borne youth from near Nayaka Tola Mor under Jagdishpur police station though Shiv Ranjan Rai somehow pushed the miscreants away and fled away from the scene. The kidnappers demanded Rs. 1 lakh as ransom and the cousin brother of the kidnapped youth transferred Rs. 10,000 to the bank account of the kidnaapers. As he got the news of kidnapping he formed a police team under the SHO Jagdishpur police station Bigau Ram and the police team recovered Shubham from Dawa village within an hour of incident and also arrested a kidnapper. The arrested kidnapper was identified as Pintu Mahto son of Suresh Singh of Masadh Tola under Tier police station in Bhojpur district though the mastermind of the kidnapping is still absconding and the police are conducting raids to arrest him. The arrested kidnapper said that Shubham was kidnapping due to money transaction. The SDPO further said that after the arrest of the mastermind of the incident, the main cause of the incident would be ascertained.
