BHOJPUR POLICE RECOVERED A GIRL FROM RANCHI IN JHARKHAND, HER LOVER IS STILL AT LARGE

Ara, 18 July 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police with the help of their Jharkhand counterpart recovered a teenage girl from Ranchi and brought her to Ara but her lover is still at large. The police also brought her to the Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and produced her in the Ara Civil Court to get her statement registered under section 164 CrPC. Later the police handed the girl to her family members. 

SHO Bihia police station said that the girl had fled away from her house under Bihia police station area on July 13, 2023 with her lover. Cousin brother of girl lodged an FIR with the police under Bihia police station in this regard. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and following scientific research and mobile surveillance, reached Ranchi in Jharkhand and with the help of their Jharkhand counterpart, the police recovered the girl though her lover is still at large.
