BHOJPUR POLICE RECOVER BODY OF A YOUTH FROM A VILLAGE

ARA-------------------Bhojpur police recovered body of a youth from a field at Jalpura Tapa village under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The body was completely drenched and blood was coming out of his nose and mouth. The deceased was identified as Vikas Kumar alias Dara  34 son of Kamendra Singh of Jalpura village. It is suspected that he was killed after drowning in the water. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR was lodged with the police under Chandi police station and the police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

Raj Kumar Singh, cousin brother of the deceased said that Vikas Kumar was a farmer and lived in the village for agriculture works though sometimes he went to another village. He always go to his friend at Salempur but every time he returned home. He stated that Vikas Kumar set out from the house three days ago but did not return. When he came to his village from Danapur on September 15, 2023, he was not in the house. On Saturday, a youth of the village came to him and informed that the body of Vikas Kumar was lying in a field of the village. He at once informed the police and also rushed to the spot. Meanwhile, the police also reached there and recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Raj Kumar Singh further said that Vikas Kumar had no enmity with anyone despite he suspected his friends drowned him in the water and killed him. Even the police supported the notion of Raj Kumar Singh but said that only the postmortem report can confirm the reason of the death.
