BHOJPUR POLICE RECOVER BODY OF A PERSON FROM BHOJPUR VILLAGE

ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police recovered half naked body of a youth from the southern outskirt of Laxmanpur village under Ara Muffassil police station and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The police also recovered a poethylenen bag of country made liquor, two packets of Sulphos and a cloth from the incident site. The deceased was identified as a Manoj Kumar 40 son of Umashankar Gond of Brimpur (Kritpura) village Ward No 13 under Giddha police station in Bhojpur district but he lived at Laxmanpur village Ward No 7 under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district for the last several years. It is said that he committed suicide by consuming Sulphos.

SHO Ara Muffassil police station Ashish Kumar Sah said that during investigation, Kalawati Devi wife of the deceased disclosed that Manoj Kumar had some illicit relation with another woman for the last some years and she had seen him chatting on mobile with the woman. She also disclosed that she had a tiff with her husband over the issue in the evening on February 16, 2025 and after that he came out of the house and since he was not heard of. The SHO further said that meanwhile, on the information of villagers, the police recovered the body from the house of Laxamanpur village under Ara Muffassil police station and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. He stated that the exact reason of the death would be confirmed after the postmortem report. Police are investigating the matter.

Umashankar Gond, father of the deceased said that he lived in his paternal village at Birampur and when got the news of the death of his son, he came to Laxamanpur village. He denied any enmity with anyone.
