BHOJPUR POLICE RECOVER BODY OF A MINOR BOY

Ara (RNI) Bhojpur police recovered body of a minor boy from the outskirt of Kalyanpur-Parashurampur village under Sinha police station in Bhojpur district today. The boy was missing since morning today. The deceased was identified as Prince Kumar alias Abhay Kumar Sinha 12 son of Dashrath Sah of Kalyanpur village and a student of Class VII. Later the police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. It seemed that the miscreants thrashed him badly first of all and later killed him after putting stones in his mouth. Irate villagers blocked the road and paralyzed movement of vehicles. They also raised slogans against the district administration and demanded immediate arrest of the miscreants and compensation for the family members of the deceased. ASP Parichay Kumar along with heavy police force arrived at the incident site and persuaded the agitating people. Later the blockade could be lifted after positive response of the police officials.

Sushila Devi, mother of the deceased said that her son Prince Kumar alias Abhay Kumar Singh read in Class VII at Parashurampur village. He along with his friends had gone to school at about 800 meter from the house after taking breakfast on March 21, 2024 morning and when he did not return home till late in the evening, the family members searched for him everywhere. They also went to the school for query where they were told that Prince Kumar felt giddy in the school and so he was sent back home but he did not came to house. After that his father gave petition to the police station regarding missing of his son.

SHO Sinha police station said that primary investigation revealed that two groups had clashed in the village and one group had threatened with dire consequences.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information that a body of a minor boy was lying at the outskirt of Parashuram village under Piro police station. Police officials immediately rushed to the spot and recovered the body of Prince Kumar alias Abhay Kumar Sinha 12 son of Dashrath Sah of Kalyanpur village under Piro police station. He stated that the family members had informed a day before on March 21, 2024 regarding missing of the boy. The SP said that a team of Forensic Science Laboratory and dog squad have been requisitioned for investigation and added that miscreants have been identified. He said that a police team under the SDPO has been formed and the police team is conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
