BHOJPUR POLICE RECOVER ABDUCTED PERSON, ARREST THREE KIDNAPPERS

ARA------------------------Bhojpur police recovered an elderly person from a mango grove at Gyanpur village under Koelwar police station and also arrested three kidnappers including father and son due and seized a car used in the kidnapping. The elderly person was identified as Sanjay Kumar Ojha of Finagi village under Bihia police station. The arrested persons were identified as a dreaded miscreant Saheb Paswan, his son Rahul Paswan of Gyanpur village under Koelwar police station and Manoj Pandey of Jagdishpur village under the same police station in Bhojpur district.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Sanjay Kumar Ojha of Finagi village under Bihia police station along with his son Suraj Ojha was going to his house from Bihia at about 11am on September 5, 2023 three miscreants came in a car near Middle School and Bihia Primary Health Centre and kidnapped Sanjay Kumar Ojha. His son Suraj Ojha lodged an FIR with the police under Bihia police station in this regard. Taking it seriously, the SP formed a police team under the SDPO Rajeev Chandra Singh for the safe recovery of Sanjay Kumar Ojha and arrest of miscreants. The police on the basis of CCTV footage located the registration number of the car and again on the basis of technical sources, arrested three miscreants, Saheb Paswan, his son Rahul Paswan and Manoj Pandey from Gyanpur village under Koelwar police station. Later on the revelation of the arrested miscreants, the police recovered Sanjay Kumar Ojha safely from a mango grove at Gyanpur village and also recovered the car used in kidnapping.

The SP said that initial investigation has revealed a case of money transaction. The kidnappers are being interrogated and investigated. Information is also being taken from the abducted person and the matter will be clear after complete investigation.

The SP further said that Saheb Paswan, arrested in the kidnapping case, has been an old history sheeter and at least  five criminal cases like robbery, loot, and murder planning are pending against him in the past and three cases of Arms Act and Liquor smuggling are also against his son Rahul Paswan.
