BHOJPUR POLICE RECOVER A COUNTRY MADE RIFLE

Ara, 24 July 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, conducted raid at Bansi Dihari village under Sahar police station and seized a country made rifle of .315 calibre and a live cartridge but the miscreants escaped by dodging the police. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Sahar Police station and the police are conducting raids to arrest them.

SHO Sahar police station Shivendra Kumar said that he got information that a big consignment of illegal arms is stored at Bansi Dihari village under Sahar police station. He along with police force went to Bansi Dihari village. Meanwhile, the police saw that Rajesh Paswan and Giri Pawan sons of Bipat Paswan were coming towards Nasariganj-Sakadi main road with a country made rifle of .315 caliber. Seeing the police both threw the rifle on a bridge and escaped. The police chased them to arrest but in vain.
