BHOJPUR POLICE FOILED BID OF LOOT AND ARRESTED THREE MISCREANTS WITH FIREARMS

Ara, 26 July 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police foiled a bid of loot and arrested armed miscreants on time and recovered two country made pistols, one live cartridge and three mobiles from them. The arrested miscreants were identified as Dhannu Kumar alias Bottle of Dhamania Shantinaagar locality, Mukesh Chaurasia of Sahangi village and Golu Kumar of Bada Sahangi Mod under Gadhani police station in Bhojpur district. 

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information that motorcycle borne three armed miscreants were going towards Dhamania village on Agiaw-Gadhani main road tos commit crime. He at once sent a police team under the ASP Chandra Prakash and the police launched a vehicle checking campaign on Dhamania Bridge. Meanwhile, three youths on a motorcycle came there and seeing the police they tried to escaped but the police chased and caught them. When searched, the police recovered two country made pistols, one live cartridge, three mobiles and a motorcycle from them. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Gadhani police station against the arrested miscreants and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

The SP said that the arrested miscreants revealed during interrogation that they had bought a country made pistol at Rs.30,000 from the neighbouring district to commit crime and also to provide the criminals firearms on hire. They also told the police about the arms suppliers and the police are contacting the police of the concern district to verify the criminal gang and just as information is received, the arms suppliers will also be made named accused in this case.
