ARA------------------------ Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested two miscreants with firearms red handed from Jagdeonagar locality under Nawada police station in Bhojpur district while hatching plan to commit crime and recovered. The arrested miscreants were identified as Suraj Kumar son of Baliram Bhagat of Bartier (Kori) village under Sandesh and Satyam Kumar son of Gautam Rai of Koyal village under Charpokhari police station. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Nawada police station against them and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.
ASP Parichay Kumar said that the Bhojpur SP Mister Raj got information that about four armed miscreants were hatching plan to commit crime in a house at Lane No 7 at Jagdeonagar locality under Nawada police station. The SP formed a police team under the SHO Nawada police station Bipin Bihari. The police team swung into action and conducted raid in the house at Lane No 7 at Jagdeonagar and arrested two miscreants while one somehow escaped from the scene. The police also recovered a country made pistol, three magazines, eight live cartridges, two bottles of India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and seven stolen mobiles from them. The ASP said that the third miscreant has been identified as Niranjan Kumar and the police are conducting raids to arrest him too. He added that the police arrested the miscreants just in time and thus foiled their bid.
