BHOJPUR POLICE ARRESTED TWO MISCREANTS IN CONNECTION WITH SHOOTING THREE FRIENDS

ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police arrested two miscreants and seized six black cartridges and three mobiles form them in connection with shooting and injuring three friends at Dhobia Gali near Aranay Devi temple under Ara town police station at about 7pm on August 22, 2024. Police are still conducting raids to arrest the rest miscreants in this regard. Later the police sent them to jail after interrogation. The arrested miscreants were identified as Nakul Kumar son of Lalan Mahato and Sudhir Mahato son of Kailsh Pati Singh of Zamira village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that at least four armed miscreants had shot at and injured three youths Rahul Kumar 24 son of Jyoti Prakash of Badi Mosque, Aman Kumar 21 son of Balram Prasad of Purani Adalat Padav Mora and Jitu Kumar 26 son of late Baiju Prasad of Gupta lane at Aranaya Devi temple near Bajari Sah ka Gola at Aranya Devi temple under Ara town police station when they were going to the Dhobiha Lane nearby at about 7pm on August 22, 2024 and escaped from the scene. After institution of FIR, he formed a police team under the SHO, Ara town police station Devraj Rai. The police team following confidential report and technical evidences, arrested two miscreants Nakul Kumar son of Lalan Mahato and Sudhir Mahato son of Kailsh Pati Singh of Zamira village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district and sent them to jail after interrogation. He further said that during verification it came to light that some years ago the injured persons were named accused in a murder and they were shot at and injured merely for retaliation.
