BHOJPUR POLICE ARRESTED TWO MISCREANTS FROM VAISHALI DISTRICT FOR MURDER OF A YOUTH OF BHOJPUR

ARA----------------------------Bhojpur police with the help of their Vaishali counterpart arrested two miscreants including an owner of a lodge from Vaishali in connection with murder of a youth of Bhojpur Rajesh Kumar Yadav. The miscreants had thrown his body into the river Ganga to erase evidence. The police also recovered his Swift Car from them. Later the police sent them to jail after interrogation. The deceased was a police driver posted at Supaul district. Love affair is said to be the cause behind the incident.

ASP Parichay Kumar said that Tez Narayan Yadav of Karisath village under Gajrajganj police outpost had given a petition in the police outpost on May 12, 2024 saying that his son Rajesh Yadav had gone out of the house on May 4, 2024 but he did not return. The family members searched for him everywhere and when failed, an FIR was lodged with the police regarding kidnapping of his son. After institution of FIR, he formed a police team under the SHO Gajrajganj police outpost Hari Prasad Sharma. The police team following the technical and scientific evidences started conducting raids at different places. Meanwhile the police team knew about the hideout of the miscreants and reached Vaishali and with the help of their Vaishali counterpart, arrested two miscreants from their village Kharzamma under Mahnaar police station in Vaishali district in the night on July 27/28, 2024 and also seized a mobile and a Swift Car of Rajesh Yadav. The arrested miscreants were identified as Krishna Kumar son of Upendra Kumar and Vinay Kumar Mishra son of late Bhawanand Mishra of Kharzamma village under Mahnaar police station in Vaishali district. The ASP further said that during interrogation, the miscreants confessed that at least 8 miscreants were involved in the murder of Rajesh Yadav. They said that they kidnapped RajeshYadav from his village Karisath and took him to a lodged at Mahnaar under the same police station in VAishali district where they killed him. Later they took his body in his Swift Car to Chakso Ganga Ghat under Mahnar police station in Vaishali district and threw the body in the river Ganga to erase evidence. The ASP stated that the police sent both the arrested miscreants to jail after interrogation. He added that the police are conducting raids to arrest the rest miscreants involved in the murder.
