BHOJPUR POLICE ARRESTED TWO LIQUOR SMUGGLERS WITH BEAR
Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, conducted raid at Mokhalisa village under Giddha police station and arrested two liquor smugglers with 55 bottles of bear.
ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, conducted raid at Mokhalisa village under Giddha police station and arrested two liquor smugglers with 55 bottles of bear. The arrested liquor smugglers were identified as Md. Kamran Ansari and Dinesh Sharma of Lakshanpur village under Ara Muffassil police station. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Giddha police station in this regard under the New Excise Act and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.
SHO Giddha police station said that she got information that two liquor smugglers were seen at Mukhalisa village under Giddha police station. The police at once raided the village. Seeing the police both the liquor smugglers tried to escape from the scene but the police chased and arrested them. When the police searched the bag they were carrying, the police recovered 55 bottles of bear.
Sources said that after the seizure of bear, the police tried to distribute among themselves. The report is confirmed with the fact that the photograph made available by the police showed the SHO with 57 bottles of bear while in the FIR it was shown only 55.
