Bhojpur police arrested two miscreants from their house and sent them to jail after interrogation in connection with robbing of a hawker after shooting him.

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police arrested two miscreants from their house and sent them to jail after interrogation in connection with robbing of a hawker after shooting him. The arrested miscreants were identified as Vikas Kumar son of Sanjay Singh of Jokata village under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district and Ranjeet Kumar son of Binod Singh of the same village.
SHO Chandi police station said that motorcycle borne three armed miscreants shot at and injured one of the two hawkers near a temple at Ramdihara Tola under Chandi police station on October 15, 2024 and snatched a mobile and Rs. 500 in cash at pistol point. The injured was identified as Bhola Yadav son of Raj Kumar Yadav of Dharmpur village under Piparahi police station of Shivhar district. Bhola Yadav had lodge an FIR with the police under Chandi police station against three unnamed miscreants in this regard.
In the FIR, Bhola Yadav said that he along with his friend Naveen Rai of his village lived in a rented house at Sakaddi village under Koelwar police station in Bhojpur district and used to work as hawkers going from village to village carrying clothes on motorcycle. He along with his friend Naveen Rai had gone on the work on December 15, 2024 and in due course when he reached near a temple at Ramdihara Tola village under Chandi police station, motorcycle borne unidentified three armed miscreants came and said that they also wished to purchase clothes. They also said that they were resident of the village and so followed them. As Bhola Yadav along with his friend Naveen Rai proceeded, they started thrashing Bhola Yadav accusing him of motorcycle theft. Meanwhile, one of the miscreants took out pistol and snatched his mobile and Rs. 500 in cash and when he protested, the miscreant pumped bullet into his body and injured him. Later the miscreants escaped from the scene.
SHO Chandi police station said that the arrested miscreants were unnamed accused and during investigation their names had figured.
