BHOJPUR POLICE ARRESTED THREE MISCREANTS WITH FIREARMS

ARA (RNI)Bhojpur police arrested two miscreants and recovered one country made pistol, three live cartridges, two mobiles and a motorcycle from them from near Bibiganj Mor under Gajrajganj police outpost in Bhojpur district. The arrested miscreants were identified as Mantu Kumar son of Dev Kumar Singh of Chhotaki Sanadiya under Ara Muffassil police station and Abhishek Kumar son of Vijay Kumar Chaurasiya under Ara town police station in Bhojpur district.

ASP Chandra Prakash said that vehicle checking drive was going on near Bibiganj Mor under Gajrajganj police outpost as ever when motorcycle borne two youths, seeing the police, tried to escape. The police suspected and chased and caught them. When searched, the police recovered one country made pistol, three live cartridges, two mobiles and a motorcycle from their possession.

In another incident, the police arrested a miscreant with firearms from near Sangam Tola under Jagdishpur police station. The arrested miscreant was identified as Vibhuti Bhushan alias Santosh Kumar Singh son of late Srikant Rai of Sangam Tola. The police recovered two country made rifles, 29 live cartridges from him.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information that a person was loitering in the village with firearms and might commit a crime. He at once formed a police under the SDPO, Jagdishpur Rajeev Chandra Singh and the police conducted raid at Sangam Tola under Jagdishpur police station and arrested Vibhuti Bhushan alias Santosh Kumar Singh of the village and seized two country made rifles and 29 live cartridges from his possession. The SP further said that during interrogation, the arrested miscreant could not reply satisfactory to any question.
