BHOJPUR POLICE ARRESTED THREE MISCREANTS, SEIZED FIREARMS

ARA---------------------------Bhojpur police foiled bid of loot of CSP of the Punjab National Bank near Sikarhatta under the same police station and arrested three miscreants. The police also seized two country made pistols, four live cartridges, mobile and motorcycle from them. The arrested miscreants were identified as Kush Kumar alias Baza of Charpokhari village, Aman Kumar of Barani (Charpokhari) under the Charpokhari police station and Laxman Thakur of Moap Kala under Imadpur police station in Bhojpur district. The police seized two country made pistol, four live cartridges, two mobiles and a motorcycle from Laxman Thakur. Kush Kumar alias Baza has criminal history and more than half a dozen criminal cases are pending with the police in Bhojpur and Rohtas district against him. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Sikarhatta police station against them and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

Piro SDPO Rahul Kumar said that the police got information that motorcycle borne three armed miscreants were hatching plan to loot a CSP of the Punjab National Bank near Sikarhatta under the same police station. He at once formed a police team under the SHO Sikarhatta police station Roushan Kumar. The police immediately swung into action and reached Sikarhatta Mahadalit Tola. Seeing the police the miscreants tried to escape but the police chased and arrested them and recovered firearms from them.
