BHOJPUR POLICE ARRESTED EIGHT MISCREANTS AND RECOVERED STOLEN JEVELRIES

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested eight miscreants from different places in connection with a robbery and house breaking at Rampur Milki village under Ara Muffassil police station and seized stolen jewelries and a scooty from them. The arrested miscreants were identified as Md. Kaimuddin, Shahzad Alam alias Tuntun, Guddu Khan, his wife Heena Begum of Milki village under Ara Muffassil police station, Uma Shankar Yadav of Bampali village under Gajrajganj police outpost, Chandan Yadav of Mahuar village under Shahpur police station, Ankit Yadav of Kaushik Dularpur village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district and Chhotu Kumar of Chakani village under Bhrampur police station in Buxar district.

ASP Parichay Kumar said that some miscreants had committed robbery in the house of Nand Kishore Singh at Rampur Milki village under Ara Muffassil police station in the night on February 16, 2025 when Anshu Kumari wife of Nand Kishore Singh had gone to Ambika Bhawani after handing over the keys of the house to her nephew Rahul and the miscreants had decamped with jewelries of gold and silver, cash, a motorcycle and a Scooty. An FIR was lodged with the police under Ara Muffassil police station in this regard on the statement of Anshu Kumari, wife of Nand Kishore Singh on February 18, 2025. Taking it seriously, a police team under the SHO Ara Muffassil police station was formed to arrest the miscreants also to recover the stolen articles. Meanwhile, the police located two persons moving on a stolen Scooty and detained them for interrogation. During interrogation, both the persons disclosed all the matter and on their revelation, the police arrested eight miscreants from different places and also recovered some jewelry of gold and silver and the Scooty. The police had already recovered the stolen motorcycle.
