BHOJPUR POLICE ARRESTED AN ARMS DEALER, SEIZED A RIFLE AND 51 LIVE CARTRIDGES

Ara, 6 March 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested a youth from diara area in between Ishwarpura and Madhavpur villages under Karnamepur police outpost with a rifle and 51 live cartridges and also seized a car. The arrested arms dealer was identified as Prem Kumar of Nandlal ke Dera village under Karnamepur police outpost.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that he got information that arms were being smuggled from Uttar Pradesh and he ordered vehicle checking drive in the diara area in between Ishwarpura and Madhavpur villages under Karnamepur police outpost. Meanwhile, the police saw a youth coming in a car. The police intercepted and when checked, the police seized one rifle and 51 live cartridges. Later the police arrested the youth and seized the car.
