BHOJPUR POLICE ARRESTED A MISCREANT WITH FIREARMS

ARA---------------------------Bhojpur police, acting on a tip off, arrested a miscreant from near Agiaw-Gadhani Mor and recovered a country made pistol, one magazine, nine live cartridges and a mobile from him. The arrested miscreant was identified as Deepak Yadav son of Dayal Yadav of Nahasi village under Agiaw police station in Bhojpur district. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation.

Bhojpur SP said that he got information that a primary accused in former cases was moving scot free with illegal weapon near Agiaw-Gadhani Mor and was planning to commit some crime. He at once formed a police team under the SHO Agiaw police station and the police, after verification of the incident, conducted raid at the spot and arrested the miscreant and when searched, the police recovered a country made pistol, nine live cartridges, one magazine and a mobile from him. The SP further said that several criminal cases are pending against him in Charpokhari, Piro and Ara town and Udwantnagar police stations against him.
