BHOJPUR POLICE ARRESTED A MISCREANT WITH FIREARMS
Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant from Akhagaon village and recovered a country made pistol, two live cartridges, one motorcycle and some looted articles from him in connection with loot of Rs. 6 lakh.
ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant from Akhagaon village and recovered a country made pistol, two live cartridges, one motorcycle and some looted articles from him in connection with loot of Rs. 6 lakh. The arrested miscreant was identified as Harsh Kumar of son of Ekram Singh of Arakh village under Krishnabrahm police station in Buxar district who live at present at Nasaratpur village under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district. Police lodged a named FIR against the arrested miscreant and sent him to jail after interrogation. Police are also conducting raids to arrest the other miscreants.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Niranjan Sharma of Nasaratpur village under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur ran Basudha Centre. On August 22, 2024 in the afternoon four armed miscreants intruded the Basudha Centre and decamped with Rs. 6 lakh at pistol point. Niranjan Sharma lodged an FIR with the police under Sandesh police station in this regard. After institution of FIR, the SP formed a police team under the SHO Sandesh Police Station Santosh Kumar. The police immediately swung into action and arrested the main accused in the loot case from Akhgaon village and also recovered a country made pistol, two live cartridges, one motorcycle used in the loot, one mobile and a bag containing several papers.
