BHOJPUR POLICE ARRESTED A HISTORY SHEETER

Ara, 9 July 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested a miscreant from near Motihari in connection with a snatching near Singhahi Bridge on Patna-Buxar main road under Ara town police station about eight months ago. The arrested miscreant was identified as Vikki Guru alias Sadhu Giri of Gausganj Satpahadi Vishwakarma road area under Ara town police station. He has criminal history and is in the list of 10 most wanted criminals of the district. 

ASP Chandra Prakash said that two armed miscreants had snatched Rs. 35000 from Tarun Kumar of Sherpur village under Maner police station was going to Buxar on his motorcycle with his friend Babloo and escaped. The incident had took place near Badki Singhai village on Patna-Buxar main road on November 22, 2022. An FIR was lodged with the police under Ara Muffassil police station in this regard. The Bhojpur SP formed a police team under the ASP and during investigation the name of Vikki Giri alias Sadhu Giri figured. The ASP further said that Vikki Giri alias Sadhu Giri had been chargesheeted in the police file since 2020 and a number of cases of loot, murder and also under exercise Act are pending against him.
