Bhojpur police arrested an absconder from outside the Bhabhua Civil Court in Kaimur district in connection with murder of Bhim Patel nephew of JD(U) leader at Ara. The arrested absconder was identified as Vikki Yadav son of Lalan Yadav of Sheetal Tola under Ara town police station in Bhojpur district. He had a long criminal history and the Bhojpur SP had announced award on his head from his level. All the accused in the murder have been arrested.

ARA-------------------------Bhojpur police arrested an absconder from outside the Bhabhua Civil Court in Kaimur district in connection with murder of Bhim Patel nephew of JD(U) leader at Ara. The arrested absconder was identified as Vikki Yadav son of Lalan Yadav of Sheetal Tola under Ara town police station in Bhojpur district. He had a long criminal history and the Bhojpur SP had announced award on his head from his level. All the accused in the murder have been arrested.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Amarjeet Patel had a flour mill at Sheetal Tola under Ara town police station. On November 12, 2022 he along with his son Akash Patel was grinding flour in his flour mill when some armed miscreants shot at Amarjeet Patel and Akash Patel and injured them. Akash Patel later succumbed to his injuries. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Ara town police station against some persons including six named persons. The police arrested five of the named accused earlier but Vikki Yadav was absconding since. The SP formed a police team under the SDPO and the police team arrested Vikki Yadav from the outside of the Bhabhua Civil Court campus in Kaimur district. The SP further said that Vikki Yadav was charge sheeted in the police file since 2015 and at least seven criminal cases like murder, rangdari, liquor smuggling and Arms Act are pending with the police under Ara town police station.
