BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST TWO YOUTHS WITH FIREARMS

ARA (RNI) Bhojpur police arrested two youths from Godana Road area under Ara Nawada police station in Bhojpur district and recovered a pistol, one live cartridge, one loaded magazine and a motorcycle from them. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Nawada police station in this regard and the police sent them to jail after interrogation. The arrested youths were identified as Ayush Kumar Gupta of Bijali Office Colony at Godana Road under Ara Nawada police station and a teenage boy.

Deepak Kumar-2, Probationar Sub-Inspector- said that he was on patrolling in the night and was checking vehicles near a palace at Godana road under Ara Nawada police station when two youths on a motorcycle were seen coming towards them at great speed. The police intercepted them but they tried to escape from the scene. The police chased and arrested them and brought them to the police station and when the police searched, the police recovered a pistol, one live cartridge, one loaded magazine and the motorcycle from them.

The SI further said that Ayush Kumar Gupta’s father Deepak Kumar Sah, former Panchayat Samiti member was shot dead in the year 2023 and the miscreants had made murderous attack on Ayush Kumar Gupta in the year 2024 and in March 2025 though he survived narrowly.
