BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST TWO THIEVES, RECOVER TWO STOLEN EYES OF GODDESS KALI
Bhojpur police arrested two thieves and recovered two gold eyes of goddess Kali stolen from a temple.
Ara (RNI) Bhojpur police arrested two thieves and recovered two gold eyes of goddess Kali stolen from a temple. The arrested thieves are identified as Chunmun Sah son of late Hari Shankar Sah and Sant Kumar son of Dev Chandra Ram of Dhobaha village under Ara Muffassil police station. Later the police sent them to jail after interrogation.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that eight idols of Goddess Kali were installed in a temple towards the west of the village Dhobaha under Ara Ara Muffassil police station. Some unidentified miscreants entered the temple in the afternoon on November 4, 2022 and decamped with four gold eyes of the Goddess Kali. In the evening when the priest of the temple came to the temple for evening prayer found that four eyes of the Goddess Kali were missing. He at once informed the local police station. After that the SP formed a police team under the ASP Chandra Prakash. During investigation, the police knew that some drug addicts had assembled near the temple in the evening on November 4, 2023. On that basis, the police identified four thieves and arrested two of them, Chunmun Sah and Sant Kumar and on their revelations the police recovered stolen two gold eyes of the goddess. The SP said that the police are conducting raids to arrest the rest two thieves and to recover two more eyes.
