BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST TWO PERSONS AND RECOVERED CACHE OF ARMS AND AMMUNITIONS FROM THEM

ARA-----------------------------Bhojpur police recovered fire arms, cartridges and cash from a house at Hunkar Tola village under Piro police station in Bhojpur district and also arrested a youth. Later the police sent the youth to jail after interrogation and lodging of a named FIR against him.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that during patrolling, the police got information that Dilip Kumar alias Ramu son of Indradeo Singh of Hunkar Tola under Piro police station has kept illegal firearms in his house and was looking to commit some crime. He at once formed a police team under SHO Piro police station Subodh Kumar and the police team conducted raid in the house of Dilip Singh alias Ramu at Hunkar Tola under Piro police station and recovered a country made pistol, one two barrel rifle, 41 live cartridges and Rs. 7.77 lakh in cash from the house and arrested Dilip Kumar Singh alias Ramu.  The SP said that Dilip Kumar Singh alias Ramu has criminal background and had been in jail several times earlier.

In another incident, the Bhojpur police arrested Harendra Kumar Singh alias Lala Yadav son of Din Bandhu Singh of Gadhaha village under Udwantnagar police station and recovered a double barrel gun, 10 live cartridges and two blank cartridges from his house. The police lodged a named FIR with the police under Udwantnagar police station against him and later sent him to jail after interrogation.
