BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST TWO MISCREANTS WITH FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION

ARA--------------------------Bhojpur police conducted raids at two different places and arrested two miscreants with arms and ammunition. Police lodged named FIRs with the police under the concerned police station under the Arms Act and sent them to jail after interrogation. The arrested miscreants were identified as Collector Singh son of late Dhura Singh of Chasi village under Narayanpur police station of Sahar block and Ajay Kumar Singh son of late Dilip Kumar Singh of Panwari village under Sikarhatta police station in Bhojpur district. The police seized three country made guns and seven live cartridges from them.

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that the police got information that Collector Singh and Vivek Singh roamed at Chasi village under Narayanpur police station with firearms to unleash reign of terror in the village. He formed a police team under the SHO Narayanpur police station Rakesh Kumar and the police team conducted raid at the Chasi village. Seeing the police the miscreants tried to escape but the police chased and arrested Collector Singh though Vivek Kumar somehow fled away. When the police searched his house, the police recovered two country made guns and seven live cartridges from there.

The SP further said that the police, acting on a tip off, arrested Ajay Kumar Singh son of late Dilip Kumar Singh with a country made gun and sent him to the jail after institution of a named FIR against him.
