BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST TWO MISCREANTS WITH FIREARMS

ARA----------------------------Bhojpur police foiled bid of miscreants to commit some crime and arrested two of them from near Melaur petrol pump under Charpokhari police station and recovered a country made pistol, one live cartridge, four mobiles and a motorcycle while one miscreant escaped from the scene. An FIR was lodged with the police under Charpokhari police station and the police sent them to jail after interrogation. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the third one. The arrested miscreants were identified as Rishikesh Kumar of Itahana village under Krishnagarh police station and Chandan Kumar of Badhuayi village under Narayanpur police station in Bhojpur district. Rishikesh Kumar is a named accused in a murder of a youth of the village two years ago and both have confessed their involvement in other incidents.

SDPO Rahul Kumar said that the Bhojpur SP for information that three armed miscreants were going to Piro from Gadhani to commit crime. He at once formed a police team under the SHO Charpokhari police station Santosh Kumar. The police team launched vehicle checking drive near Malaur petrol pump. Meanwhile three youths on a motorcycle, seeing the police tried to escape but the police chased and arrested them. When checked, the police recovered a country made pistol, one live cartridge, four mobiles and a motorcycle from them.
