BHOJPUR POLICE ARREST TWO MISCREANTS WITH FIREARMS

Ara, 7 January 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested two miscreants and seized a country made pistol and two live cartridges from their possession in connection with beating up a shopkeeper at Dhanupura under Ara town police station over a dispute among children though the third one escaped from the scene. The arrested miscreants were identified as Ankush Kumar and Pintu Kumar of Dhanupura and Raghutola under Ara town police station. An FIR was lodged with the police under Ara town police station on the statement of the shopkeeper Neeraj Kumar of Dhanupura. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the third miscreant.

Quoting the FIR, the SHO Ara town police station said that the Shopkeeper Neeraj Kumar was going to his shop in the afternoon when he saw a boy of the area quarrelling with his younger brother. He separated both of them. Meanwhile, one accused came and thrashed his younger brother and when he protested, he went away threatening him with dire consequences. Later the miscreants took him to a garden at Dhanpura from his house and thrashed him badly. Later the police came and arrested two of three miscreants.
